The River Adur has always been at the heart of the AOAC and it was originally set up as a water sports activity centre before expanding its offer. Today Paddle Sport remains central to the offer the AOAC makes, supporting children, young people and adults to enjoy this diverse and engaging sport. 

Whilst the River Adur offers a wonderful resource the river is tidal and therefore access for paddle sport is governed by those tides. Some sessions can only be run an hour either side of high tide, this can limit availability and access for groups and those new to the sport. 

UNFORTUNATLEY WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER PADDLE SPORT TO UNDER 18 YEAR OLDS IN 2025 AS WE GO THROUGH THE PROCESSS OF SECURING A LICENCE. THIS IS A LEGAL REQUIRMENT FOR ALL PROVIDERS.
